Term
Check `n Go & Allied Cash Advance Post Holiday Sweepstakes January 2022 (“Sweepstakes”) begins on January 3, 2022 12:00AM Eastern Time (ET), and ends on January 14, 2022 11:59PM, ET (“Term”).
Eligibility
Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States, District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, who are above the age of majority in the state or territory in which they reside at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Wisconsin is excluded. Employees of Allied Cash Advance and its affiliated companies and members of the immediate families of each are not eligible. Sweepstakes is subject to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. By entering this Sweepstakes, all entrants agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
How To Enter: No purchase necessary to enter or win the Sweepstakes.
A. In-Store Entry.
Customers who complete a loan application at an Allied Cash Advance store will be automatically entered into this Sweepstakes upon receiving a funded loan from Allied Cash Advance during the contest term.
B. Write-in Entry.
Fill out an online form to be automatically entered into this Sweepstakes. By providing an email address, you consent to receive promotional information, offers, and other email marketing messages from Sponsor. All entries must be received no later than the last business day of the sweepstakes.
Term
Limit one (1) sweepstakes entry per person/address/email address/month no matter what method of entry is used. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the allowed number of entries by using multiple/different identities, registrations, or any other methods will void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. Sponsor and its affiliated companies are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error or technical malfunctions, illegible, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any computer equipment or software, or any combination thereof, or for lost, stolen, late, misdirected or mutilated entries. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor will not accept forged, altered, mechanically reproduced or facsimile entries.
Prizes
Sponsor will award each winner with one (1) two hundred dollar ($200) e-gift card. There will be three (3) winners total. All entries received from Check `n Go online, Check `n Go retail, Allied Cash Advance retail, Check `n Go write-ins and Allied Cash Advance write-ins will be combined, and three (3) winners will be selected from all of those entries combined. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
Winner Selection
Potential winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries during the Promotion Period. This selection will take place on January 17, 2021. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or Independent Sweepstakes Administrator. Potential winners will be contacted by e-mail or by phone at the e-mail address or phone number provided on the registration page or the write-in entry. Potential winners will be disqualified and forfeit the prize for any of the following reasons:
- Failure to respond or return requested information (such as name, address, phone number, etc.) within five (5) days of being notified
- Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable
- Winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules
If a potential winner is disqualified, an alternate winner may be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. There will be three (3) alternate drawings after which the prize will remain unawarded. Prizes will be fulfilled 6-8 weeks after the conclusion of the promotion. All decisions of Sponsor are final. Odds of winning each prize are dependent upon number of eligible entries received.
Prize Restrictions
Limit one (1) prize per individual/household during the Term. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions are allowed except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value, should the prize become unavailable for any reason. Any and all taxes and costs associated with the receipt and use of the prize are the responsibility of the winner. By accepting any prize, winners consent to use of his/her name or likeness for advertising/publicity purposes without further consideration, except where prohibited by law.
Privacy
Any information collected will be subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy Policy. By entering the Sweepstakes, you acknowledge that you have agreed to such Policy and you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes of administering this Sweepstakes in accordance with such Policy.
Conduct
By participating, entrants agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Entrants further agree to comply with and be bound by decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be: (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or any Sponsor website; (b) violating these Official Rules; (c) violating the Official Rules of service, conditions of use, and/or general rules or guidelines of any Sponsor property or service; or (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.
Release and Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor, respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and related entities (collectively, “Releasees”) from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize from or arising out of participation in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (1) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (2) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (3) any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error, or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
Internet
If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Online entry can only be made via one (1) e-mail address per person. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
Force Majeure
The failure of the Releasees to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of the Releasees (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations), or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.
Disputes
Except where prohibited or otherwise outlined in these Official Rules, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate Ohio State Court; (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, consequential damages, and any other damages other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Ohio, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Ohio or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Ohio.
